About Us - A personal and professional approach

I started out by buying my first British Blue kitten as a present for my wife from a very genuine and helpful lady by the name of Jane Tunnicliffe of the 'Dippersmoor' prefix in Plymouth, Devon. Thank you Jane for allowing me to have Dippersmoor Daydream (Daisy) who is just the most amazing cat.

Within a week I was looking out for a companion for this wonderful kitten. It was by pure chance that I was put in contact with Ann Stubbs of the 'Positively' prefix in Monmouthshire who eventually agreed to selling me one of her highly desirable Positively kittens.

It was as a result of meeting Ann that she managed to twist my arm into 'having a go' at this showing business.  I have recently embarked upon this and to my surprise have achieved amazing success with my two Blue kittens. I could not have achieved this without the supportive mentoring of Ann who has taken me under her wing and has given me tremendous help and support since day one. (She also gives me a good telling off when needed or goes silent which is even worse!!!).

Then I decided to breed from my two girls and so from Showing I added on the Breeding and have I just started with my breeding programme which has become a very interesting and expensive hobby!!

Ann and Les, Jane and Tom  have now become very good friends and I wish to thank them publicly for their time, dedication, support, advice, guidance, time and honesty helping get to where I am today.

I am still an extreme novice but would consider myself to be the ultimate professional in everything that I do.

My moto is 'If I cannot do it properly and excel at it – then I do not do it'.

I have started off by specialising in British Blues but I have also bred some Blacks which I have also grown to cherish most dearly.

When I started out I very quickly came to realise that there is a great reluctance in the Cat World to 'help' and encourage new entrants.

It is as a result of finding a couple of very supportive, helpful and encouraging people who were only too pleased to help a new starter to this world,  that I have decided to adopt their values and principles.

I am prepared to export kittens BUT only to appropriate and recommended permanent homes but would very much prefer to place my kittens into INDOOR pet homes where they can receive lots of love and cuddles for the entirety of their lives.

Cat breeding for me is very much a hobby, so I only ever have between 1 - 3 litters each year. The motto here being "Quality not Quantity" and   I only ever have one litter at any given time, this ensures that the kittens get my undivided care and attention for the first 13 amazing weeks of their lives.

All kittens are reared in the home and are fully socialised and used to the usual domestic sights, sounds and are completely child-proof thanks to the wonderful induction skills of my daughter and son, Ben and Lily who give the kittens the best grounding in family life that they could wish for!!

All kittens leave me when they are 13 weeks old, are fully vaccinated, registered with the GCCF and insured for the first 6 weeks of their new life with PetPlan.

If I do not have any kittens, do please contact me as I can usually pass you on to a friend who has.
